DIHQA Overview
Vision of the Award
The Award endeavors to be a leading and outstanding forum at the Islamic world level in the field of the serving of the Holy Quran and its scholarship and in honoring all those who work in this field.
Mission of the Award

To organize international and local contests for the memorizers of the Holy Quran from the various parts of the world according to fair and accurate criteria.

To honor outstanding Holy Quran memorizers, Islamic personalities and academic and Islamic call institutions. The Award is always keen that such honoring is the best throughout the Islamic world.

The Award supervises the Holy Quran Memorization centers in Dubai and always endeavors to communicate with the Quranic centers with the UAE and seeks to promote the memorization of the Holy Quran.

The Award is keen to serve the sciences of the Holy Quran and organize forums, seminars and lectures related to the Quranic studies and activities and seeks spreading the Quranic culture.

The Award makes use of the favorable social environment in the emirate of Dubai for achieving its objectives and heeds the development of collective and voluntary work.
Objectives of the Award
The Award aims to serving the Holy Quran and promoting the general standard of the Quranic performance through the following:

Motivation of young Muslims to abide by the teachings of Islam and to recognize their duties towards their fait and Islamic mission.

Creation of the spirit of competition in the field of memorization of the Holy Quran and encouragement to exert more efforts and time for memorizing and reciting the Quran.

Honoring the outstanding memorizers of the Holy Quran.

Highlighting the Islamic roots of the UAE and confirming its role in the serving of the Islam and Muslims everywhere.

Confirmation of Islamic values and their importance in life.

Honoring personalities or institutions that have provided outstanding services to Islam and Muslims.
Branches of the Award
The Award was launched in 1418 H 1997 G with the branches of the International Holy Quran Contest and Honoring the Islamic Personality of the Year, but today, its activities are divided into the following branches:

The Honoring of the Islamic Personality of the Year.

The Local Holy Quran Contest

Islamic lectures, seminars and activities.

The Memorization of the Holy Quran at the punitive institutions in Dubai.
